01 July 24 - Media Release

National law firm Holding Redlich has today announced the promotion of 29 lawyers, including two new partners, Sarah Butler in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice and Megan Cant in the Workplace Relations & Safety practice.

Alongside Sarah and Megan, the promotion of 21 women and six men includes one general counsel, five special counsel, eight senior associates and 13 associates, effective 1 July 2024.

Holding Redlich National Managing Partner, Troy Lewis, says these promotions acknowledge the exceptional contributions and proven track records of the promoted lawyers in delivering outstanding legal advice, client service and leadership.

“As one of Australia’s top law firms, distinguished by deep sector knowledge and commitment to understanding our clients' needs, we take great pride in recognising and rewarding the achievements of our lawyers and future leaders. This cohort of lawyers consistently demonstrate outstanding capability, exceed clients’ expectations and embody the values of Holding Redlich,” Mr Lewis said.

“Today’s promotions also reflect the success of our comprehensive career development programs and flexible working policies aimed at supporting the professional growth of female lawyers within our firm. This has been, and remains, a priority for us as we continue to ensure that our firm leads the way in relation to female representation at the senior lawyer and partnership levels.

“Congratulations to all our lawyers and to Sarah and Megan on joining the national partnership. I am extremely excited about the immediate contribution they will make as partners of the firm,” he added.
