Holding Redlich is proud to share that partners Elizabeth Carroll and Jessica Tsiakis have been named finalists in the 2025 Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards. Elizabeth has been shortlisted for Partner of the Year – Big Law, while Jessica is a finalist for Mentor of the Year.
Now in its 14th year, the annual awards celebrate the exceptional women shaping the Australian legal profession. This year, 271 finalists have been shortlisted across 29 individual and group categories in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the sector.
Submissions are evaluated against both quantitative and qualitative criteria, including growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence and impact on the legal sector.
Elizabeth is an award-winning lawyer with more than 25 years of experience in public and administrative law. She joined Holding Redlich in 2021 when the firm established its Canberra office and was appointed to Managing Partner in 2024.
Elizabeth leads with a focus on service and innovation and continuously empowers her team to deliver strategic legal solutions tailored to the needs of Commonwealth clients. Under her leadership, the Canberra office has experienced significant growth with the addition of two new partners and their teams, the firm’s appointment to all five areas of law on the Whole of Australian Government Legal Services Panel, and most recently, a corporate partnership with the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) ACT.
Jessica Tsiakis is a Partner in the firm's Dispute Resolution & Litigation team, specialising in contractual disputes, regulatory investigations, white-collar crime and fraud. She joined Holding Redlich in 2020 as a senior associate and now leads a team of close to 20 lawyers.
Jessica is deeply committed to supporting emerging lawyers, particularly women, by giving them visibility, confidence and opportunities for growth. She sees mentoring as a way to help shape a more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable society where women are supported to remain in law, progress to leadership, and in turn, support others.

Holding Redlich has assisted a service provider in obtaining final orders from the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal to overturn Melton City Council’s refusal to grant a planning permit for a new medical centre in Hillside, Victoria.
