Holding Redlich has advised on leasing arrangements for ECQ Outlet, the final stage of the Eastern Creek Quarter development in Greater Western Sydney.
Opening today, ECQ Outlet becomes the first outlet retail concept in the region, bringing together approximately 100 Australian and international brands within a major new retail destination.
Holding Redlich supported Frasers Property Australia over a two-and-a-half-year period, advising on agreements for lease and subleases for all tenants in the centre. The work involved drafting and negotiating complex, multi-layered lease arrangements for a mix of tenants, from major international and national brands to smaller independent operators, as well as supporting the inclusion of electric vehicle charging facilities.
Lead Partner Samantha Gou said the project represented a significant milestone for Frasers Property Australia.
“ECQ Outlet delivers a large-scale and innovative retail offering for Greater Western Sydney, and we are proud to have worked alongside Frasers’ team to realise their vision for this unique retail destination.”
Samantha was supported by a core team comprising Special Counsel Joanne Keo, Senior Associate Wendy Wan, Associate Lola Chang and Paralegal Quinn Nguyen, with further support from Special Counsel Lauren Stables, Senior Associate Dominique Kerfoot, associates Maria Hayes and Jolene Ong, as well as other paralegals and undergraduates.
