Greg has over 18 years’ experience as a dispute resolution and litigation lawyer. He specialises in complex commercial, corporate and property disputes and litigation, together with corporate insolvency law. He also specialises in regulatory disputes & litigation, commissions of inquiry and administrative law.

Greg acts for Australian and foreign clients across a wide range of industries, including government, media, entertainment & communications, financial services and property & real estate. His clients include Commonwealth and State government agencies and statutory corporations, local councils, media companies and advertising agencies, insolvency practitioners, manufacturers, mining companies, property developers and commercial & retail property owners and managers.

Commercial, corporate and competition disputes
Greg has acted in many complex commercial cases, across the Federal and various State jurisdictions, including disputes in the areas of contract, finance, intellectual property and competition law. Several of these matters have involved cross-border issues.

Greg also has extensive experience in corporate disputes and litigation (e.g. disputes relating to mergers and acquisitions, directors’ duties, shareholders’ and partnership agreements) and all aspects of corporate insolvency law.  In the insolvency area, his clients include secured and unsecured creditors, debtor companies, directors and insolvency practitioners.

Property and leasing disputes
Greg has acted in many complex disputes at all stages of the property investment, development and ownership lifecycle.  These include disputes relating to project finance, joint venture agreements, agency agreements, acquisitions and disposals, property rights (e.g. caveats, encroachments and easements), land valuations and retail and commercial leasing.

Greg’s clients include Commonwealth and NSW government agencies and statutory corporations, several well-known property developers, industry superannuation funds, property owners and managers.

Regulatory disputes, administrative law and inquiries
Greg advises clients on matters involving regulatory compliance, approvals and in dealings with regulators (including regulatory investigations and prosecutions).  He has acted for both Commonwealth Government and private sector clients in several high profile cases where regulatory decisions have been challenged in Courts and Tribunals, and in civil and criminal proceedings arising out of regulatory investigations.

Greg also has extensive experience in Royal Commissions and other inquires, such as investigations by and hearings before the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption and independent reviews of government decisions.
