35 Holding Redlich lawyers named in 2023 Best Lawyers list

21 April 22 - Media Release

National law firm Holding Redlich announces that 35 lawyers have been included in the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in Australia, including a 2023 Lawyer of the Year.

The 2023 Best Lawyers list acknowledged Holding Redlich lawyers from across Australia across a range of  practice areas including property, privacy and data, construction, transportation, shipping and maritime law.

The 2023 edition recognised Holding Redlich partner Andrew Hynd as a 2023 Lawyer of the Year in the category of Information Technology Law, a testament to his strong experience, deep industry relationships and high level of professional counsel through large and complex information technology projects. Best Lawyers’ Lawyer of the Year is awarded to one individual lawyer in each specialty area and geography with the highest overall peer feedback.

Other notable inclusions are:

  • Sydney-based General Counsel Lyn Nicholson was listed for the first time by Best Lawyers in the category of Privacy and Data Security Law
  • Brisbane Partner Darren Anderson, already listed in Real Property Law, was listed in a second Best Lawyers category for Leasing Law
  • Melbourne Partner Kyle Siebel, already listed in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Construction / Infrastructure Law, was listed in a third Best Lawyers category for Litigation Law.

Holding Redlich’s National Managing Partner, Ian Robertson AO, welcomed the announcement, stating the recognition highlights the depth and breadth of talent across Holding Redlich’s core practice areas.

“To earn the respect of the profession takes sustained commitment and dedication to every client, project and case. Having so many of our team acknowledged for delivering exceptional advice and client outcomes reflects our firm’s commitment to excellence, as well as the supportive working environment we foster to enable it.” said Mr Robertson.

Best Lawyers remains the hallmark of success for the profession, the media, and the public as the most reliable, unbiased source of legal referrals. Its first international list was published in 2006 and since then has grown to provide lists in over 75 countries.

Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence.
