She specialises in complex leasing (including complex agreement for lease arrangements and leasing arrangements for anchor tenants, commercial offices and industrial sites), capital transactions (including acquisitions and disposals of commercial office buildings, shopping centres and agricultural farms), title due diligence and real estate development. She has acted for global asset management firms, real estate investment trusts, property developers and private clients.

Wendy’s experience includes:

• acting for an Australian investment management firm on its stake at unitholder level in relation to the acquisition of industrial real estate in NSW for around $330 million
• acting for a global asset management firm on its acquisition of a commercial office building in North Sydney for $145 million
• acting for a real estate development and investment firm on its acquisition of St Mary’s Intermodal Terminal in NSW for $145 million
• acting for a global asset management firm on its acquisition of a large format retail shopping centre in Perth for $74 million
• acting for a multinational manufacturing company on its disposal and lease-back of industrial facilities at Chullora, NSW for $28 million
• acting for a global asset management firm on its acquisition of various rural residential properties in NSW for a collective value in excess of $120 million.

Leasing

Wendy’s experience includes:

• acting for Mirvac in respect of the demolition component of its $2 billion redevelopment of Harbourside Shopping Centre
• acting for Centuria in relation to its large format retail and specialty shop leasing portfolios across the eastern seaboard of Australia
• acting for Frasers Property Australia in relation to its retail and industrial leasing transactions across Australia
• acting for GPT Group on various leasing transactions, including retail and commercial leasing transactions in Victoria and NSW
• acting for Scentre Group in relation to its retail and commercial leasing transactions in NSW
  acting for IPG Funds Management in relation to its retail and commercial leasing portfolios in NSW.
