Penelope has experience in a broad range of commercial property matters, including capital transactions and commercial and retail leasing.

She advises clients across the agricultural, technology, medical, sports, hospitality and retail sectors and has experience in all aspects of commercial property work, from contractual negotiation through to stamping and registration.

Penelope began her career at a global law firm in Melbourne and spent several years overseas working in the technology sector in Scotland and France. Prior to joining Holding Redlich, she was a partner at a boutique law firm in regional Victoria, focusing on high-value capital transactions in the agricultural sector.

Experience

Penelope's experience includes:

• acting on the acquisition and disposal of commercial, residential and farming properties in Victoria
• advising a local authority on drafting and registering section 173 Agreements, easements, gifts of unwanted land to council and disposals of surplus council land
• acting for the owner of a storage facility in the disposal of land and business assets to an ASX-listed company
• advising owners of premium agricultural businesses on the disposal of farmland and associated assets
• advising on and documenting terms sales and vendor financing arrangements in capital transactions
• advising on succession planning and trust arrangements in the agricultural sector.
