Guy is a leasing lawyer with more than 11 years’ experience in commercial, industrial and retail leasing across multiple jurisdictions. A large part of Guy’s practice involves guiding clients in relation to their national property portfolios, drafting client-specific precedent documentation and advising on all aspects of leasing.

Experience

Guy has acted for shopping centre owners, State and local governments, asset management companies and investment and superannuation funds.

Examples of Guy’s experience includes the following:

acting for major landlord and tenants to draft, review, advise, negotiate and finalise disclosure documents, agreements for lease, leases, subleases, incentive deeds and licenses
advising clients in various office, retail, industrial and telecommunications transactions
preparing, conducting and advising on due diligence issues in respect of disposal and acquisition of shopping centers, industrial warehouses, vacant land and other property transactions
providing advice to landlords and tenants on their rights in commercial and retail disputes
providing tailored advice to clients regarding legislative and case law updates
maintaining lease precedents to comply with legislative changes.
