Dinh has over 20 years’ experience in commercial property law and is a trusted advisor to developers, renewable energy companies, property groups, logistics and manufacturing companies and landlords and tenants of commercial, industrial and retail properties and Crown land.

Dinh’s clients know her for her dedication to client service, technical ability and speedy turnaround of advice and documentation.  She enjoys finding commercially pragmatic solutions for clients. Having worked on some of Victoria’s largest property transactions as well as guiding clients through ‘business as usual’ matters, when clients work with Dinh they know they are in a pair of safe hands.

Experience

Dinh’s experience includes:

  • acting for renewable energy companies on securing land rights under options to lease and options to purchase for the development of wind farms, solar farms and battery energy storage systems in Vic, NSW, Qld, SA and WA. This includes easements, tripartite deeds, co-ordination with existing developer, infrastructure-related agreements, farm management services agreement and grazing licences
  • acting for landowner on building up its portfolio of clean energy sites by acquiring sites around Australia and securing tenancy pre-commitments from the operators of renewable energy facilities
  • acting for landowner on securing an operator for a $10 billion data centre hub near Morwell, Victoria
  • acting for the developer of a 45,000 m2 office tower development in Docklands. Dinh has acted on a number of other high profile Collins Street office developments, including Mirvac’s Olderfleet at 477 Collins Street, 664 Collins Street, Lendlease’s Melbourne Quarter commercial office towers, Rialto Podium development and QIC’s development and sale of 80 Collins Street. She has worked on forward fund through development agreements and securing tenancy precommitments under agreements for lease and leases
  • acting on the sale of shopping centres as well as the redevelopment and on-sale of a shopping centre including all tenancy pre-commitments, pass through of risks to builder and sell down to the purchaser
  • acting on a sale and leaseback of a head office building with laboratories and car park in Parkville
  • acting for a fourth-party logistics company on all of its leasing of warehouse premises around Australia
  • property due diligence for business acquisitions/sales and property purchases or development, including freehold title, leasehold interests, property-related deliverables under the sale/purchase agreement and considering bankability of the project
  • all types of leasing transactions including major tenant leasing, strategic lease structuring and helping clients to navigate potential leasing disputes
  • land subdivisions, easements, titling issues, off-the-plan sales and acquisitions of land for development. 

Dinh has multi-jurisdictional experience, having worked in New South Wales, Victoria and London.
