Amilia Stewart is a senior associate in our Property, Planning and Development Group with experience across private practice and in-house (government and private), capital transactions, commercial and retail leasing, and complex property acquisitions and disposals.

Amilia’s experience includes leading transaction management and stakeholder coordination, drafting and negotiating, and running due diligence processes. Amilia also has experience with major renewable energy infrastructure matters involving land acquisition strategies, option exercises and easement establishment.

Experience

Amilia’s experience includes:

• acting for landlords ranging from small private owners to major institutional landlords, and tenants ranging from small businesses to large corporate and national occupiers, across retail, commercial and industrial assets in Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria
• acting for clients in relation to the acquisition and disposal of commercial, retail and residential properties across Australia, including extensive lease and property due diligence
• providing easement and other titling advice
• major projects including land acquisition (involving acquisition of both leasehold and freehold land) and preparing, negotiating and finalising tenure arrangements
• acting for clients in relation to the sale and purchase of residential developments including preparation of contractual and disclosure documents, conducting due diligence and registration of plans of subdivision.
