William has a strong track record of providing timely and commercial litigation and legal advisory services and regularly acts for government and corporate clients.

Experience

William’s experience includes:

  • acting for ASIC in significant and complex Federal Court Litigation 
  • acting for sophisticated corporate and commercial clients in litigated matters before the Federal Court and NSW and Victorian Supreme Courts
  • acting for directors in litigation brought by shareholders
  • acting for directors in litigation and disciplinary proceedings brought by ASIC
  • acting for a range of professionals including directors, accountants, auditors, financial planners and insurance brokers in a broad range of regulatory, negligence, fraud and contractual disputes
  • acting for high net worth individuals, including foreign nationals arising from disputes relating to failed investments in Australia
  • acting for domestic insurers and various London underwriters for the purpose of providing complex indemnity advice and/or in financial lines indemnity disputes
