Phina is a workplace relations and safety lawyer experienced in providing strategic and practical legal advice and representation in a wide range of workplace matters.

Phina’s day to day practice and expertise includes providing advice and assistance on both employment and workplace health and safety issues. Her experience advising a wide range of clients, including small start- ups to global corporations, means she is well placed to provide comprehensive, tailored and commercially driven solutions for Australian workplaces.

Phina routinely provides advice to businesses on all matters relating to the engagement of workers and throughout the life of the employment or contractor relationship. Phina takes an impartial approach to conducting and advising on workplace investigations and advising clients on responding to disputes or claims by employees or employee organisations.

Phina’s workplace health and safety experience includes providing strategic and practical advice to assist businesses to understand and comply with their duties under health and safety legislation (incident prevention) and respond to incidents as and when they occur (incident response).

Phina has a special interest in the management of psychosocial hazards in the workplace, including in the context of investigating workplace complaints and conducting disciplinary and performance management processes.

Phina also has a keenness for delivering engaging workplace trainings and presentations on a wide range of employment and health and safety issues.
