Mandy is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Sydney.

Mandy regularly practices in regulatory investigations, administrative law, and corporate and commercial disputes. She has acted in large-scale commercial disputes and class actions. 

Prior to working at Holding Redlich, Mandy was the Associate to the Honourable Justice Colvin of the Federal Court of Australia.

Experience

Mandy’s experience includes:

  • acting as a solicitor assisting the Public Inquiry into Liverpool City Council
  • acting for the Commissioner of Police in merits review matters involving firearms licensing and applications for access to government information, including appearing in interlocutory and final hearings  
  • advising liquor and gaming regulators in relation to investigations into registered clubs and tax entitlements
  • advising government departments, companies and individuals in relation to breaches of contract 
  • acting on behalf of investors in class action proceedings against a global credit rating agency in relation to deceit claims in connection with the rating of complex financial products
  • acting for a development company in relation to claims of anti-competitive conduct arising from the privatisation of the Port of Newcastle  
  • acting on behalf of shareholders in class action proceedings against an ASX listed company and its directors, alleging misleading or deceptive conduct and contraventions of continuous disclosure obligations
