Jackson Dyer

Expertise

Jackson is a Senior Associate in the Construction, Infrastructure and Projects Group, with experience in Construction, Major Infrastructure, PPP and construction disputes.

Jackson has been involved in preparing, negotiating the full suite of project documentation including Project Deeds, direct deeds, EPC, D&C, EPCM, O&M / FM and joint venture agreements. He also has experience in managing the timeline for a variety of projects and ensuring that projects reach completion on set timeframes.

Jackson has specialist experience with Specialist Disability Accommodation and the supporting structures and requirements under the NDIS.

Experience

Jackson’s experience includes:

  • representing Community Housing Limited in the development of the Public Housing Renewal Affordable Housing Program in Brighton, Pakenham and Alphington, including review and amendment of the Project Deed, Services Contract and other project adjacent documents
  • acting for Wilson Parking in relation to the development of the Footscray Hospital’s Project
  • assisting in the drafting of a Management Agreement for the transfer and management of mining tenements
  • drafting Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contracts on behalf of a solar energy producer for the construction of a solar power plant and an energy battery plant
  • aiding in the drafting of a Short Term Generator Contract, for the construction of a short term diesel generator, and an Operation and Management contract for the South Australian Government
  • engaging with a major Australian multinational corporation in a review of various contracts for the procurement and implementation of information technology assets
  • assisting in the preparation of a tender for a regasification unit, including the preparation of advice on various elements of marine and environmental law
  • managing and assisting in Security of Payment Act applications on behalf of a number of clients, including working directly with a Junior Counsel to prepare an Adjudication application and personally preparing statutory declarations
  • assisting in preparing and managing multiple rounds of submission for an Expert Determination between a Disability Support Provider and a State Government, including liaising directly with counsel and the client to manage the submissions.
