Holding Redlich welcomes new superannuation specialist to its Melbourne office

27 February 20 - Media Release

National law firm Holding Redlich is pleased to announce that partner Luke Hooper has joined its Corporate & Commercial practice group, as a specialist in superannuation and financial services.

Based in the firm’s Melbourne office, Luke has particular expertise acting for large industry-based, government and corporate superannuation fund trustees and financial service providers.

He has acted on a number of matters affecting superannuation funds including major superannuation investments, custody, administration, successor fund transfers and general commercial contracting.

Luke said he is delighted to be joining Holding Redlich, particularly at an important time for this area of law.

“Superannuation law is ever-evolving and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found myself practicing in this area of law that intrigues and challenges me while also practicing in a firm that has a strong commitment to and long-standing relationship with the superannuation industry,” Luke said.

National Managing Partner Ian Robertson welcomed Luke to the firm.

“Luke has extensive experience of the principal legal and commercial issues affecting superannuation fund trustees and financial services providers, including all aspects of superannuation fund compliance, management and investment,” Ian said.

“We are very pleased to have Luke join our firm and know he will be a great asset to the national team.”
