Tara is a Senior Associate in our Property, Planning & Development group. She acts for large national and international landlords and tenants specialising in retail, commercial and telecommunications leasing, licensing and advisory work. Tara is known for her attention to detail in her drafting and advice and commercial approach to negotiations. Tara is able to effectively manage a high volume practice and has guest lectured at The University of Technology in Advanced Commercial Transactions.


Tara’s experience and major clients include:

  • Optus: advising and assisting on all property-related aspects of mobile telecommunications network deployment and negotiating leases, licences and associated contractual agreements for tenure arrangements in every jurisdiction in Australia. She assisted with precedent development work and has advised on legal implications on the deployment of small cells and assisted with complex relocation matters
  • Stilmark: acting since the startup of the company providing telecommunications advisory work and negotiating contractual tenure arrangements in every jurisdiction in Australia
  • Evie Networks: acting since the commencement of this electric vehicle fast car charging company providing advice and creating precedent documentation for their car charging network across Australia
  • Primewest: landlord retail leasing work across a fast expanding large format shopping centre network
  • Regus Australia: tenant office leasing and advisory work across expanding serviced office spaces in Australia
  • Salvation Army: preparing all retail property documents including leases, deeds, licences and caveats in all Australian states for Salvation Army stores and preparing retirement village leases for Salvation Army Aged Care
  • Salvos Legal Advice Bureau: providing legal advice to disadvantaged clients on a range of areas of law, including migration and family law
  • Fletcher Building (trading as Tradelink): preparing all commercial property documents including leases, deeds, licences and caveats in all Australian states for the Tradelink Stores
  • Specialty Fashion Group: acting in relation to Specialty Fashion Groups assignment of leases following their purchase of Rivers Australia.

Prior to gaining her law degree, Tara managed a migration agency acting for and advising clients in all areas of migration law.
