• advising foreign renewable energy companies with the acquisition of target land and Foreign Invest Review Board applications and approvals
• advising local developers of renewable energy projects including drafting a put and call option agreements, development management agreement, step-in deed, novation agreements, various land access agreements, easements, environmental offset deeds, road infrastructure agreements and loan agreements.

• acting for a listed REIT in relation to a series of property and businesses acquisitions across all Australian states and territories
• currently acting for Stamford Land Corporation Singapore in connection with the sale of 6 of its hotels (five in Australia and one in New Zealand)
• acted for the Royal Automobile Club if Tasmania on the sale of its Destinations business and associated assets including resort at Strahan, Freycinet, and Cradle Mountain and the Gordon River Cruise business and vessels.   

• advising international clients in relation to the disposal of an island in the Whitsunday region, including vendor due diligence
• acted in the disposal of 310 Ann Street, Brisbane for a value in excess of $210 million 
• acted in the sale of a 50 per cent interest in a proposed retail and commercial office tower in Brisbane to an institutional investor including the negotiation and finalisation of:
  • Co-Ownership Agreement
  • Asset Co-Ordination Agreement
  • Property Management Agreement
  • Join Venture Agreement 
  • Access Licence Agreements with various authorities
  • Development Management Services Agreement.
• advising a hotel developer in the restructure of a resort island in the Whitsunday region with a complex mixed use leasehold tenure. Dealing with various authorities and stakeholders including the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, Department of Energy and Water Supply, National Parks and the Department of Transport in relation to land tenure transfers of the Crown Leases and non land asset sale components of the restructure
• advising an international hotel owner and operator in the disposal of a hotel on the Gold Coast for a value in excess of $110 million. 

• advising a developer and operator of retirement villages across Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia with the:
  •  acquisition of existing sites
  • development and registration of new sites
  • day to day operations of existing sites.
• acting for a national retirement village operator in the sale of a 70 per cent stake to First State Super for a value in excess of $85million.

In addition to her domestic experience, Megan has experience in the United Kingdom:

• acting for the property portfolio management of a major US insurer
• working with the national corporate term in acquisitions and disposals for clients within the education sector
• acting as the lead client contact for the property portfolio management of a major telecommunications retailer including negotiating wayleave agreements, franchise agreements and landlord and tenant work
• acting for local developers in the disposal of land, lease back arrangements and development agreement for commercial and industrial use
• acting for city authorities in the resumption of commercial land for redevelopment.
