Stef is a Senior Associate in our Construction & Infrastructure group. Stef has over 10 years of experience as a lawyer in the areas of infrastructure, commercial disputes, transport and government.

Stef advises principals, contractors and government clients on a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects.  She has experience in drafting and negotiating various construction contracts and advising on project delivery issues.  She also acts in construction disputes.  

Before Sydney, Stef worked in London, Hong Kong and New Zealand.


Stef’s experience includes:

  • drafting and advising on various amended standard construction contracts (eg AS4000, AS4300, AS4902) including for a main street revitalisation project, a multipurpose centre, library expansion project, road upgrades and commercial building fitouts
  • advising on various infrastructure projects including on water treatment plant, sewerage treatment plant, sewerage pumping station and rising main, advanced water recycling facility, recycled water rising main and associated infrastructure
  • advising on various project delivery issues and providing advice on contract administration (eg extension of time, variations, latent/ground conditions) and on various claims.  Advising on practical completion requirements and conducting audits.  Assisting with strategy and negotiations of construction contracts
  • reviewing and advising on interface agreements, access agreements and infrastructure licences in relation to rail, desalination plant and motorway network projects
  • assisting with a bid for an international consortium for a metro project.  Reviewing the project deed (design and build) for the metro vehicle and charging equipment and providing advice
  • drafting and advising on various bespoke agreements including EPC turnkey contracts (FIDIC based), PV customer contracts, O&MS contracts, supply of materials contracts, waste management and transportation contracts and power purchase agreements for renewable energy funds and multinational energy companies
  • drafting and advising on energy supply agreements for a solar panel project for the NSW Government
  • assisting in a large scale construction arbitration involving a LNG pipeline in Queensland.
