As part of the ongoing reforms introduced by the Environmental Protection (Greentape Reduction) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2012, the Queensland Government has released draft Eligibility Criteria and Standard Conditions for certain prescribed Environmentally Relevant Activities (ERAs) for public consultation.

The Draft Eligibility Criteria and Standard Conditions are aimed at reducing the regulatory burden for various industries including agriculture, manufacturing and extractive industry.

Submissions may be made to the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (EHP) on or before the 19th August 2013.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to understand the likely implications of the proposed new Eligibility Criteria or Standard Conditions, or if you require assistance preparing a submission.
