Households urged to run taps amid concerns of lead poisoning
Australian households have been officially advised to run their taps for at least 30 seconds in the morning amid fears of lead poisoning from plumbing products. Lady Cilento name change assessed by Crime and Corruption Commission
Queensland health minister Steven Miles has been referred to the Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) over the Lady Cilento name change online survey. The opposition wants the CCC to investigate if the government rigged the vote, and possibly falsified records so it could justify changing the hospital's name from the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital to the Queensland Children’s Hospital (22 November 2018).  More...

New mental health facility could care for extreme cyber-bullying cases
When Queensland’s new youth mental health facility opens in early 2020, the state will finally have the mental health facilities it needs, its former chief psychiatrist told reporters.
